Are you a budding super sleuth or a detective in the making?

Whilst the whole family feasts on a scrumptious afternoon tea, solve the puzzles, retrieve the key and open the treasure chest.

There can only be one winner - will it be your team of detectives that will crack the case?

Don't worry we have some seasoned afternoon tea experts on hand who might know an answer or two to help you out should you get stuck!

*Please note this event does not involve exploring the garden to solve the puzzles

*Activities are suitable for children aged 7 years and over

Tables of 10 to 12 will be available. Smaller groups may be joined with other tables. Large parties may be split between tables depending on the room layout

• Provisional reservations must be confirmed within 14 days of the initial reservation, otherwise, they will be invalid

• Any non-attendance or reduced numbers after the balance due date will still be subject to payment

• All monies are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be given for lost deposits. Should your numbers reduce, the monies lost cannot be used against wine, drinks or the final balance. Party organisers are advised to inform all members of their party of this policy.

• Deposits and pre-payments are refundable for events cancelled by The Alnwick Garden and Searcys.

• Please advise us in advance (in writing) if you have anyone in your party with specific dietary requirements

• With the exception of specified arrival drinks, drinks are not included in the package price and any additional drinks purchased must be settled prior to leaving The Garden on the evening of the party

• Only alcohol purchased from The Alnwick Garden and Searcys may be consumed on the premises. The Alnwick Garden and Searcys reserve the right to search bags for alcohol and any found will be confiscated. The Garden reserves the right to refuse admission to any guest

• Private parties are welcome and are accepted on an agreed minimum number

• The Alnwick Garden and Searcys reserve the right to cancel or amend any fixture due to lack of numbers or unforeseen circumstances. An alternative date or refund will be provided

• All information is correct at the time of going to print. The management reserve the right to amend or cancel events without prior notification

• All prices include VAT at the current rate. We accept cash, credit and debit cards

• Party organisers or company representatives will be liable for any misconduct by their guests that results in damage to The Garden property
