Description

Christmas Party Nights at the Garden Pavilion will celebrate Christmas with traditional fare, glasses of fizz, festive cocktails and music. The Pavilion overlooks the magnificent Grand Cascade which will be sparkling with festive lighting, providing the perfect backdrop for a magical evening.

The Searcys’ chefs have devised a three-course Christmas menu that focuses on using local, sustainably sourced produce to create traditional British dishes executed with a modern approach. This Festive Party Night will include a glass of fizz on arrival, a three-course Christmas dinner and entertainment from a live band playing 1920s style music.

Dress code: 1920's themed or smart casual

Starters

Searcys signature smoked salmon, pickled cucumber, horseradish cream, rye bread

Ham hock and pea terrine, pea puree, pork crackling, pea shoots, toasted rye bread

Leek and potato soup, leek seaweed, Durham butter, brown ale sourdough (vo)

Mains

Glazed turkey breast, traditional accompaniments, seasonal vegetables

Seared fillet of salmon, miso broth, vegetable noodles

Beetroot and feta tart, Brussel slaw (vo)

Desserts

Christmas pudding, brandy sauce

Chocolate brownie, banana ice-cream (vo)

Custard tart, caramelized pineapple

Coffee and mince pies

Our food may contain nuts, derivatives of nuts or other allergens. If you suffer from an allergy or food intolerance, please notify a manager before your arrival at the event. We are happy to cater for any special requirements. All care has been taken to remove small bones where appropriate but it is inevitable that some may still remain.

Smaller groups may be joined with other tables. Large parties may be split between tables depending on the room layout

• All deposits and final payments to be settled as one payment (not individual payments)

• Provisional reservations must be confirmed within 14 days of the initial reservation, otherwise, they will be invalid

• Pre-orders and final numbers must be confirmed, and full payment received 4 weeks before your event

• Any non-attendance or reduced numbers after the balance due date will still be subject to payment

• All monies are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be given for lost deposits. Should your numbers reduce, the monies lost cannot be used against wine, drinks or the final balance. Party organisers are advised to inform all members of their party of this policy.

• Deposits and pre-payments are refundable for events cancelled by The AlnwickGarden and Searcys.

• Please advise us in advance (in writing) if you have anyone in your party with specific dietary requirements

• With the exception of specified arrival drinks, drinks are not included in the package price and any additional drinks purchased must be settled prior to leaving the garden on the evening of the party

• Only alcohol purchased from The Alnwick Garden and Searcys may be consumed on the premises. The Alnwick Garden and Searcys reserve the right to search bags for alcohol and any found will be confiscated. The Garden reserves the right to refuse admission to any guest

• Private parties are welcome and are accepted on an agreed minimum number

• The Alnwick Garden and Searcys reserve the right to cancel or amend any fixture due to lack of numbers or unforeseen circumstances. An alternative date or refund will be provided

• All information is correct at the time of going to print. The management reserve the right to amend or cancel events without prior notification

• All prices include VAT at the current rate. We accept cash, credit and debit cards

• Party organisers or company representatives will be liable for any misconduct by their guests that results in damage to The Garden property
